The Killers will release a new album this year, according to initial reports.The provisional title for the follow-up to 2006 effort “Sam’s Town” is “Day and Age”, though a spokeswoman for the band has stressed that name is yet to be confirmed.Pencilled in for a November release, the Las Vegas quartet have been previewing two new tracks from the album on their ongoing tour of North America.Videos of “Spaceman” and “Neon Tiger” - the lyrics from which the longplayer’s working title is thought to be pulled – are streaming now at YouTube.The band intend to finish the album with producer Stuart Price by the time they headline the Reading and Leeds festivals on August 23 and 24 respectively.
