Paul McCartney has spoken of his excitement at next month's historic show in Israel.
As previously reported, the pop legend is scheduled to play the country for the first time in September, 40 years after the government banned The Beatles.
It has now been confirmed that the gig will take place on September 25 in Tel Aviv, with Sir Paul promising a "great evening".
He said: "I've heard so many great things about Tel Aviv and Israel, but hearing is one thing and experiencing it for yourself is another.
"We are planning to have a great time and a great evening", said McCartney, who received an official invitation from Israeli officials earlier this year."
