An upcoming Avril Lavigne concert in Malaysia is in jeopardy, after local Islamists insisted she was "too sexy".The Canadian punk-pop starlet is due to kick-off her Asian tour in Kuala Lumpur on August 29, but a final decision on the gig hangs in the balance.The youth wing of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party are reportedly concerned that her performance will corrupt the nation's youngsters.Party official Kamarulzaman Mohamed explained: "It is considered too sexy for us…It's not good for viewers in Malaysia."We don't want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models", he commented.In previous years, other Western acts, such as Gwen Stefani and The Pussycat Dolls, have faced censorship at their shows in Malaysia.
