A protest of Muslin youths against a concert by Avril Lavigne in Malaysia will go ahead this week, it has been confirmed.
The Conservative Islamic party have released a statement insisting the boycott takes place, after claiming the singer is "too sexy" for locals.
There are also fears that the performance in Kuala Lumpur, which coincides with Ramadan, will be offensive to their religion.
Nasrudin Hassan, of the Pan Malaysian Islamic Party PAS, explained their reasons for the action.
"A concert of this nature is not conducive to teach the younger generation to become good citizens, upright and competitive, but instead would weaken them morally and mentally.
"If the concert organisers do not heed this warning to cancel the concert, PAS youth will order all Muslim youth to turn up and protest the concert in order to prevent it from taking place."
