Ricky Wilson has called Noel Gallagher "a publicity machine", just weeks after he compared them to The Monkees.
The Oasis leader has been all over the press this month, criticising Kaiser Chiefs as he looks to promote his band's new album.
However, Wilson has refused to come out fighting and instead has paid tribute to the guitarist's media skills.
When questioned about Noel on BBC Radio 1 today, the singer told Chris Moyles: "He's really clever because every interview I've done in the last week has mentioned Oasis.
"So I'm answering questions about their new record and he ends up in everybody's interviews. He is a publicity machine."
Oasis release "Dig Out Your Soul" on October 6, one week before Kaiser Chiefs return with "Off With Their Heads".
