Arctic Monkeys are to go into the studio with Josh Homme next month, he has revealed.
The Queens Of The Stone Age leader is expected to produce the band's first new material since "Favourite Worst Nightmares".
The rock icon said Alex Turner and co will fly out to a studio in Joshua Tree, California to begin work.
"I think it's going to work out great. They want to submerge themselves in a place that's the opposite of where they're from and what they're used to.
"I think we're just going to start by doing a couple of tracks. No pressure. The goal is to make something that they dig so much that everyone else can too", Homme told the NME.
