REM have been forced to move a show on their upcoming UK tour due to poor ticket sales, it has been confirmed.The US rock icons play a string of dates this month, including a gig in Cardiff which was scheduled to take place at the Millennium Stadium.However, the band's manager says it will now be held at the "smaller, more intimate" International Arena, because half of the 35,000 tickets were unsold.REM's European manager, Bob Gold, admitted sales for the gig had not been as significant as hoped, calling the reaction to the other dates "satisfactory".Their UK tour dates are as follows:

24 Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Club
25 Cardiff International Arena
27 Southampton Rose Bowl
30 London Twickenham Stadium
REM release a new single, "Man Sized Wreath", on August 11.
