Peaches Geldof said she was "very happy" following her shock wedding to an American musician.
The 19-year-old returned to London as Mrs Max Drummey after the Las Vegas wedding to the 23-year-old lead singer of band Chester French.
As news of the couple's nuptials spread, Peaches spent most of the day holed up in her home in a gated development in Camden, north London.
The daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates had a healthy takeaway lunch delivered, which included organic lemonade, salad and a char-grilled steak salad. A bouquet of pink flowers was also delivered to the flat.
When she finally left the flat the teenager told reporters and photographers gathered outside that she was "very happy".
Wearing a wedding ring, Peaches was escorted by two police officers to a waiting taxi. The driver said he was asked to take her to the West End.
