A venue has promised to make an iconic 1980s vehicle the centre stage for a performance of a critically acclaimed concept album.
The Wales Millennium Centre (WMC) is appealing to any DeLorean DMC-12 owners to get in touch ahead of a rare gig by Neon Neon.
The electronic act is a collaboration between the Super Furry Animals' frontman Gruff Rhys and Los Angeles-based industrial dance producer and musician Boom Bip.
Their album, Stainless Style, is based on the life of the notorious 80s motorcar-maker John DeLorean and has just been nominated for a Mercury Music Award.
Efforts are now being made to trace any owners of the car which is perhaps most famous for being used in the hit film Back To The Future.
Bosses at the WMC want to feature the car prominently ahead of the concert on November 2.
