Madonna has denied claims she is getting divorced from Guy Ritchie, amid reports linking her with a US baseball star.The pop icon's marriage has been the subject of much speculation in recent months, as she prepares to kick-off her latest world tour.However, the singer has released a statement insisting the couple are happy and distancing herself from Alex Rodriguez.His wife Cynthia is said to have blamed Madonna for the collapse of her marriage to the sportsman, who has apparently also taken up the Kabbalah religion.The statement, which was released to People magazine, reads: "My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce."I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez."I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study."I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously. "I also appreciate how fiction and fact seem to be perceived as one and the same by people who read both newspapers and the Internet", she commented.
