Led Zeppelin are being linked with an unlikely reformation at the 2012 Olympics in London.
The rock legends played an acclaimed one-off show at the O2 Arena last year and rumours of a full comeback continue.
Last month, guitarist Jimmy Page was amongst the performers who ushered in the changeover from China to England, at the Beijing games.
He has now said it would be "an honour" to perform again in four years time, even though his display with Leona Lewis prompted a mixed response.
Speaking about their duet, he commented: "People just need to be less cynical. You know we went out there, we only had ten minutes - what did people expect?"
Discussing the possibility of a repeat in 2012, Page responded: "If they asked, it would be an honour".
