The Black Eyed Peas are to release a new album this summer called "The E.N.D.", they have announced.
Band leader will.i.am revealed news of their first record since 2005's "Monkey Business" this week.
Standing for "The Energy Never Dies", it follows his recent political anthem for Barack Obama, "Yes We Can".
Describing the new material, will.i.am said it consisted of "a lot of dance stuff, real melodic, electronic, soulful. We call it, like, electric static funk, something like that."
"The E.N.D." is due for release on June 9.
