Sir Paul McCartney, The Killers and The Cure will headline the Coachella Festival in April, it has been announced.
My Bloody Valentine, Amy Winehouse, Morrissey, Fleet Foxes, White Lies, Leonard Cohen and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are also on the bill.
Speaking about the announcement, which will see Macca play his first festival on American soil, the former Beatle said he was looking forward to the event.
"I have heard that Coachella is one of the greatest festivals in the world. I'm really excited to get out there and rock!", he explained.
Coachella 2009 takes place on April 17-19 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.
