Metallica will embark upon a tour of UK arenas next year.
The band will play seven dates in total, starting at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham on February 25.
The shows come after the release of new album "Death Magnetic" last month.
Tickets go on sale at 9am this Friday (October 24).
